Madrid to host new Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit in 2026

The 2026 Formula 1 calendar will feature a brand‑new urban circuit in Madrid, dubbed the “Madring”. The 5.4‑kilometre track will be laid out around the IFEMA‑Valdebebas exhibition area, with a 1.5‑kilometre semi‑urban section that runs through city streets such as the Ribera del Sena and Vía de Dublin. The Grand Prix weekend is scheduled for 11–13 September 2026 and will also host the season‑final Formula 3 race and the eleventh round of Formula 2.

The Madrid circuit will be the first permanent capital city in Europe to hold a Formula 1 race, featuring 22 corners and a distinctive “peraltada” (banked) curve called La Monumental. Ticket options range from general admission to premium “Gold” sections, with three‑day passes priced between €650 and €990. The event is positioned as a cultural and technical showcase within the global motorsport calendar.
