Madrid woman cancels 17,852 euro debt via Second Chance Law

A woman in Madrid has successfully cancelled a debt of 17,852.73 euros through the application of the ‘Ley de Segunda Oportunidad’ (Second Chance Law). The legal process was managed by the law firm Repara tu Deuda Abogados.

The debtor's financial difficulties originated from providing economic support to her parents and the misuse of credit cards due to inadequate information regarding interest rates. Attempts to consolidate debt through new loans were unsuccessful as she continued to balance personal expenses with family obligations abroad. The judicial process concluded with the granting of the ‘Exoneración del Pasivo Insatisfecho’ (EPI), allowing her to resolve her long-standing financial instability.
