Madrid's 'Madring' Circuit Secures El Corte Inglés Sponsorship for 2026 Spanish Grand Prix

El Corte Inglés has signed on as the official sponsor of the Tag Heuer Spanish Grand Prix in 2026, which will be held on the new urban "Madring" circuit in Madrid from 11‑13 September. The department‑store chain will host a Fan Zone at its Nuevos Ministerios centre, sell official Grand Prix merchandise, provide uniforms for staff and volunteers, and promote travel packages through its travel arm, linking the event to shoppers and visitors throughout the city.

Although the circuit is still under construction, the unfinished layout has already been rendered in the official F1 25 video‑game expansion released by EA Sports. Creative director Lee Mather explained, "The biggest challenge was building something that doesn’t exist yet," noting that the team used CAD data, local topographic information and extensive photography to recreate the track’s distinctive elevation changes and the 24 % banked curve known as “La Monumental.” Players can now experience the hybrid urban‑racetrack experience ahead of the real‑world race.
