Madrigueras showcases musical heritage at Albacete stand

The municipality of Madrigueras took center stage at the Diputación de Albacete stand during a recent fair, showcasing its local cultural identity through music and community projects. The event highlighted the Asociación Músico-Cultural Catachana 82, an organization deeply integrated into the daily life of the town and recognized for its role in training young musicians and fostering social cohesion.

Santiago Cabañero, President of the Diputación de Albacete, emphasized the importance of musical bands as essential training grounds and talent pools within rural towns. He noted that the government has invested over 3 million euros in recent years to support the revitalization of such musical groups. The presentation also touched upon the recovery of the Cine Parroquial as part of the municipality's efforts to create spaces for citizen participation and cultural engagement.
