Mads Pedersen joins Hertha BSC from FC Augsburg

Danish left-back Mads Pedersen has officially joined Hertha BSC from FC Augsburg. After seven years in Augsburg, the 29-year-old signed a contract through summer 2027 with an option for an additional year. The transfer fee is reported to be a modest sum, estimated between 150,000 and 200,000 euros. Hertha sports director Benjamin Weber stated that Pedersen fills a vital position in the squad, providing much-needed experience and an offensive profile.

In other German football news, VfB Stuttgart is facing potential roster changes. Striker Ermedin Demirovic is reportedly close to a move to Galatasaray, with reports suggesting he has already agreed to personal terms on a contract lasting until 2030. Meanwhile, the club has decided to block a potential transfer for defender Josha Vagnoman following an injury to Nikolas Nartey, opting to keep him as a primary option at right-back.
