Madura United Coach Ze Gomes Announces Progress and Aggressive Tactics for 2026‑27 Super League

Coach Jose Manuel Gomes da Silva, known as Ze Gomes, said Madura United FC is beginning to show promising progress during internal training sessions at Gelora Bangkalan Stadium. He highlighted the team’s quicker reaction when losing the ball and a focus on ball‑possession and high‑pressing as the new tactical foundation.

Gomes also noted that many areas still need work and that further training tests are planned before the official start of Indonesia’s Super League 2026‑27. The club, which has assembled a 32‑player squad including 11 foreign players, aims to adopt a more dominant and aggressive playing style to improve on the previous two seasons.

The coach’s comments come as Madura United prepares for the upcoming league season, hoping the new approach will help the team perform better and meet supporters’ expectations.
