Madura United re-signs Brazilian midfielder Hugo Gomes for 2026/27 season

Brazilian midfielder Hugo Gomes, nicknamed Jaja, has rejoined Indonesian club Madura United ahead of the 2026/27 Super League season. The 31‑year‑old returns after two seasons with Dewa United.

Madura United director Annisa Zhafarina said the signing is part of the club’s long‑term plan to keep a high‑quality midfield and respond to supporters’ wishes. The club expects Gomes to immediately strengthen the central area and bring a winning mentality to the squad.
