Maersk expands logistics services through ShippyPro and Columbia Sportswear deals
A. P. Moller – Maersk is expanding its logistics and e-commerce capabilities through two distinct strategic developments. First, the company has partnered with shipping management platform ShippyPro to integrate Maersk’s e-commerce parcel delivery services into ShippyPro’s multi-carrier software. This integration allows merchants to manage Maersk’s international delivery network, customs, and tracking within a single workflow, facilitating easier cross-border order fulfillment.
Second, Maersk has entered into a new agreement with Columbia Sportswear Company to manage warehousing and distribution for its Pick & Pack operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Operating from a facility in Tamworth, UK, Maersk will replace Columbia’s previous distribution setup in France. The five-year contract involves managing approximately 1.6 million inbound and outbound units annually across a portfolio of 25,000 SKUs, supporting retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.
