Magallanes and Tiburones to play special baseball series in Miami

The Venezuelan baseball clubs Navegantes del Magallanes and Tiburones de La Guaira will face each other in Miami for the second edition of the ‘Choque de Gigantes’ series. The two-game event is scheduled for November 14 and 15 at LoanDepot Park, the home stadium of the Miami Marlins.

Organized by the Miami Marlins in collaboration with the Liga Venezolana de Béisbol Profesional (LVBP), the series serves a dual purpose. In addition to promoting the internationalization of the Venezuelan league, a portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to relief efforts for communities affected by the earthquakes that occurred in Venezuela on June 24.

Club and league officials stated that the distribution of funds will be documented and communicated publicly to ensure transparency and accountability.
