Magaly Medina and Paolo Guerrero encounter at Plaza de Acho

Journalist Magaly Medina and footballer Paolo Guerrero had an unexpected encounter at the Plaza de Acho during a bullfighting event held in honor of the Señor de los Milagros on Sunday, October 25.

Video footage shared on social media shows the two figures in close proximity. While Medina was seated in the stands with companions, Guerrero passed nearby with his father. Witnesses described the moment as potentially uncomfortable for the television host due to the enthusiastic reception received by the Alianza Lima player.

The encounter has drawn significant attention due to a legal conflict between the two dating back to 2007. At that time, Guerrero filed an aggravated defamation lawsuit against Medina following the broadcast of images regarding a personal encounter. This legal battle resulted in Medina serving 76 days in the Santa Mónica women's prison in 2008.
