Magaly Medina reports extortion threats; Chedraui accused of neglecting injured worker

In Mexico, the family of Gonzalo Medina Hernández has accused the company Chedraui of failing to provide support following a construction accident in Tampico. Medina Hernández reportedly fell 15 meters during works at a Chedraui Selecto site, resulting in a pelvic fracture. His wife, Anahí García Hernández, alleges that the company offered 200,000 pesos in exchange for silence regarding the incident, while the family continues to cover rising medical expenses.
