Magda Linette to face Janice Tjen in Chennai Open final

Magda Linette has reached the final of the WTA 250 Chennai Open after a hard-fought semifinal victory against Anastasia Zakharova. The third seed overcame a first-set deficit, winning 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 to secure her ninth career WTA Tour final.

Linette will face Janice Tjen in the championship match scheduled for Sunday, November 8. Tjen, the tournament top seed and defending champion, secured her place in the final by defeating Robin Montgomery 6-3, 6-4. The final match is set to take place on the central court, with the winner earning 250 ranking points and a prize pool share exceeding $37,000.

In the doubles competition, Weronika Falkowska and partner Alana Smith have advanced to the semifinals after defeating Gabriela Da Silva Fick and Zhibeck Kulumbayeva.
