Magdalena Majtyka death investigation reveals police handling concerns
Actress and choreographer Magdalena Majtyka disappeared on 4 March in Wrocław after a planned dentist visit and a film‑set appearance. Her last known contact was a phone call around 16:30, after which she was reported missing. The damaged Opel Corsa she had been driving was discovered on 5 March near Biskupice Oławskie; police inspected the vehicle but did not immediately link it to the missing‑person report. On 6 March her body was found in a forest about 200 metres from the car, along with her phone and keys. Prosecutors continue the investigation, with autopsy and toxicology tests pending. Police have launched an internal review, and officials have been quoted saying that “it can be regarded as a lapse” in the handling of the case, while stressing there is no evidence of third‑party involvement at this stage.
