Magdalena Ogórek launches Museum of Looted Art

Magdalena Ogórek, a former media presenter and presidential candidate, has announced her departure from the television station wPolsce24 to focus on her Museum of Looted Art (Muzeum Sztuki Zagrabionej).

Located in Sulisławice, Lower Silesia, the museum has been in development since 2017. Ogórek stated that the museum is effectively open, though its current operation depends on her personal presence due to the heavy workload she has managed alone. To ensure more consistent access for visitors, she is currently recruiting volunteers who are passionate about history.

The museum's collection includes primary historical materials and archives collected by Ogórek from Italy, Germany, and from the homes of former SS members. These materials include firsthand accounts and documents related to the Holocaust and actions against Poles and Jews.
