Magdalena Ogórek to leave wPolsce24 television station

Magdalena Ogórek, a prominent Polish journalist and former presidential candidate, has decided to end her collaboration with the television station wPolsce24. The decision reportedly came as a shock to the station's management and staff, as Ogórek was one of the channel's most recognizable faces.

Ogórek has been associated with wPolsce24 since its launch in September 2024. She hosted several programs, including ‘Polityka na deser’ and her own Sunday evening format, ‘Studio Magdaleny Ogórek’. The latter was the station's most popular program, attracting an average of over 326,000 viewers in August.

Regarding her departure, Ogórek stated that she feels an internal imperative to keep moving forward and is looking for new professional challenges. She noted, ‘I like to create successful projects. Now it is time for new ones.’ She is expected to complete her notice period to allow the station time to adjust its programming schedule.
