Magdalena Sánchez Blesa launches cultural cycle in Orihuela

The Miguel Hernández Cultural Foundation has launched the ‘Bajo la higuera’ cycle in Orihuela. The program features poet and cultural activist Magdalena Sánchez Blesa, who presented her new poetry collection, ‘Ceniza viva’.

Sánchez Blesa, a regional deputy for the PSOE in Murcia, discussed her connection to the poet Miguel Hernández and her work in promoting his legacy. The event took place at the Ateneo Cultural Casino Orcelitano, the same location where Hernández recited in 1933.
