Magdaléna Borová wins Rozhlasová Cena Thálie at Prix Bohemia Radio

Actress Magdaléna Borová has been awarded the Rozhlasová Cena Thálie at the Prix Bohemia Radio festival. She received the honor for her role as Marianne in the radio production of Ingmar Bergman’s ‘Scenes from a Marriage’, directed by Beata Parkanová. The jury highlighted her authenticity, natural acting, and ability to portray the transformations of a woman navigating various relationship challenges.

The Prix Bohemia Radio festival features 37 finalist works across four competitive categories: Documentary, Drama, Reportage, and Podcast. This year’s edition marks the tenth anniversary of the Reportage category, which is unique for being open to international participants. The festival also includes public programming such as debates, concerts, and meetings with various artists.
