Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency medical service, reported responding to 1,911,412 incidents during the Jewish year 5786. This frequency averages one emergency dispatch every 16.5 seconds.

The organization’s 101 Emergency Call Center handled over two million calls, with an average response time of two seconds or less. MDA’s operations utilize a diverse fleet, including ambulances, mobile intensive care units, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and specialized mass casualty incident equipment.

In addition to routine emergencies, MDA reported significant activity in specific areas, such as treating over 67,000 people injured in traffic accidents and assisting in 1,399 home or transit births.
