MagentaTV secures exclusive Turkey matches for 2026 World Cup
Deutsche Telekom’s MagentaTV will broadcast all 104 matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with 44 games shown exclusively on its platform. For Turkish fans living in Germany the service offers a dedicated Turkish commentary track, pre‑match analysis and specialist guests for each of Turkey’s three group‑stage games against Australia, Paraguay and the United States. The matches are not available on Germany’s free‑to‑air channels ARD and ZDF.
MagentaTV also provides free, on‑demand highlights of the Australia‑Turkey opener, available in 4K for viewers with compatible hardware. Access to the full live service requires a MagentaTV subscription, priced at €11 per month after a six‑month free trial (or €8.25 avg. monthly over the contract term). The platform streams in UHD quality and supports multiple dedicated channels for live games, tactical data feeds and analysis.
The offering aims to attract German‑based Turkish‑speaking audiences and strengthen Telekom’s position in the competitive streaming‑rights market against rivals such as DAZN and Prime Video.
