Maggie Grace added to AMC's NASCAR series 'Thunder Road

Actress Maggie Grace has been confirmed as a series regular on AMC’s upcoming NASCAR‑themed drama "Thunder Road." The show, created by John Fusco with Mark L. Smith, follows the fictional Whitlock family’s multi‑generational stock‑car racing empire. Dennis Quaid leads the cast as racing legend Duane "The Wrecking Ball" Whitlock, joined by Chase Stokes, Michael Rooker and Matt Barr. Grace will portray Laney Whitlock, the eldest child and chief executive of Whitlock Racing, tasked with steering the family legacy.

Grace said, "I made friends for life on Fear the Walking Dead. I look forward to getting back in the saddle with AMC’s unique brand of storytelling, and to working with Taylor Elmore again." The series is produced in partnership with NASCAR and is slated to premiere next year.
