Maghreb Fès parts ways with coach Rui Almeida

Maghreb Fès FC has announced the mutual termination of Portuguese coach Rui Almeida's contract. The decision follows a period where team results failed to meet the expectations of the reigning Botola Pro Division 1 champions.

The announcement comes after a 0-1 defeat against Widad الرياضي Temara in the sixth round of the national championship. This marked the team's second loss of the season, leaving them in seventh place with 8 points.

Maghreb Fès is currently competing in the 2026-2027 CAF Champions League, placed in Group D alongside Pyramids FC of Egypt, Al Hilal of Sudan, and Horoya AC of Guinea.
