Magic City Classic tailgating slots open for online sale Sept. 10

Online sales for tailgating slots at the annual Magic City Classic will open on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 12:01 p.m. via Big Tickets. The event features a matchup between Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University at Legion Field.

Tailgating spaces cost $400 for the period from Wednesday, Oct. 28, to Saturday, Oct. 31. Early move-in options are available for $600 on Monday, Oct. 26, and $500 on Tuesday, Oct. 27. All tailgaters must be moved in by 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30.

Specific regulations for the event include a prohibition on using stakes to secure tents at Legion Field. RV owners are required to install exhaust stake pipes for both their vehicles and generators. If fans miss the online sale, in-person purchases will be available at Legion Field starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 26.
