Magic Design Studios announces underwater adventure game Nautus

Magic Design Studios, the developer of ‘Have a Nice Death’, has announced a new underwater adventure game titled ‘Nautus’. Published by Arc Games, the title will feature a mix of exploration, combat, crafting, and base management.

Players control an upgradable submarine to navigate coral reefs, trenches, and shipwrecks while encountering mutant marine life. The gameplay loop involves collecting resources from the ocean floor to upgrade submarine modules and weapons, as well as expanding a tropical island outpost on the surface.

Set against a mystery involving a remote research station and a missing relative, ‘Nautus’ supports solo play or online co-op for up to four players. The game is scheduled to enter Early Access on PC via Steam in 2027.
