Magnesia Vice-Governor inspects Volos Sports Complex

Anna Maria Papadimitriou, the Vice-Governor of Magnesia and Sporades, visited the ‘Takis Synetopoulos’ Sports Complex (EAK) in Volos to assess the condition and requirements of the athletic facilities. The visit included discussions with Vassilis Charvalas, head of the Olympiakos Volos football department.

Funding has been approved for two major projects at the complex: one for general facility repairs and interventions, and another specifically for the replacement of the pitch's artificial turf. These improvements aim to enhance infrastructure and ensure the safety of athletes, particularly the children in the club's academy. The initiative follows a 2.5-year effort by Olympiakos Volos to secure necessary upgrades.
