Magnolia Campobasso defeats ŽKK Cinkarna Celje in EuroCup debut

Magnolia Campobasso opened their EuroCup Women campaign with a 75-53 victory over the Slovenian side ŽKK Cinkarna Celje. The Italian team secured a 22-point win, driven by strong performances in the second quarter and beyond.

Madera led the scoring for Campobasso with 19 points, while Vilka contributed 18 points and Scott added 11. The team's defensive tightening was credited by coach Mimmo Sabatelli for allowing the offense to flourish. Despite resting player Conti due to muscle discomfort, Campobasso dominated the rebounding with 41 total boards compared to Celje's 25.
