MAHA activists accuse Trump administration of broken promises
Supporters of the ‘Make America Healthy Again’ (MAHA) movement have released a scorecard accusing the Trump administration and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of failing to meet key objectives regarding food, agriculture, and environmental health.
The scorecard, authored by MAHA advocate Tiffany Cianci and involving former members of Kennedy’s 2024 presidential campaign, claims the administration has broken more than 85% of its promises to the movement. Critics within the movement allege that the administration has favored the chemical industry by approving new pesticides and hiring industry lobbyists and executives.
While the MAHA movement coalesced during Kennedy’s presidential bid to unite advocates for food safety, environmentalism, and vaccine skepticism, internal friction is growing as activists demand stricter crackdowns on pesticides and food dyes.
