Mahabubnagar truck fire kills driver and 200 goats

A driver and approximately 200 goats died after a lorry caught fire in the Mahabubnagar district of Telangana. The incident occurred around 4 am near Bhoothur village on National Highway-44.

The vehicle, which was transporting the animals, collided with an electric pole. This collision reportedly caused the diesel tank to burst, triggering a massive fire. The driver died at the scene, and the goats trapped inside the vehicle were burnt alive.

Firefighters arrived to bring the blaze under control, and police have moved the driver’s body for a post-mortem examination. Authorities are currently investigating the total extent of the loss.
