Mahakali film update and Akshaye Khanna glimpse set for August 24

Filmmaker Prasanth Varma and RKD Studios have announced that a new update regarding the upcoming film Mahakali will be released on August 24. The project serves as an expansion of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) following the success of Hanu-Man.

Mahakali is directed by Puja Aparna Kolluru, with Prasanth Varma serving as the showrunner. The film features Akshaye Khanna in a transformative role as Shukracharya, the guru of the Asuras. The upcoming August 24 reveal is expected to provide a first glimpse of Khanna’s appearance in the film.

Produced by Riwaz Ramesh Duggal, the production also stars Bhoomi Shetty and Rohit Saraf. The film is being developed on an ambitious scale as part of the ongoing cinematic universe.
