Mahamat Assileck Halata conducts national tour in Chad

Mahamat Assileck Halata, Chad's Minister of Territorial Planning, Urbanism, and Housing, is conducting a national tour to address regional development and land disputes. In Am-Timan, the capital of Salamat province, the minister is meeting with local authorities and military leaders to assess infrastructure needs, urban development, and land occupation challenges.

In Oum-Hadjer, located in the Batha province, the minister diverted his itinerary to join a multi-ministerial effort to resolve a land conflict between several villages. He is working alongside the Minister of Security, Ali Ahmat Akhabach, the Minister Delegate to the Administration, Ahmat Oumar, and the Secretary of State for Justice, Aminatou Bello. To facilitate a resolution, technical teams from the Cadastre and Topography department have been deployed to conduct topographical surveys and establish precise territorial boundaries.
