Mahamat Outman appointed manager of Oglio Po Hospital emergency department
Dr. Mahamat Outman has taken on the role of acting manager for the emergency department at Oglio Po Hospital. Having worked at the facility for twenty-five years, primarily in internal medicine, Outman transitioned to emergency medicine to apply his long-standing experience to urgent care.
The emergency department manages an average of 80 to 90 patients daily, ranging from sudden pain to accident victims. Outman, who moved to Italy from Chad forty years ago and graduated from the University of Parma, emphasizes that effective care requires both rapid decision-making and the ability to support patients during difficult moments. His deep familiarity with the local territory and existing relationships with medical professionals are cited as key assets in his new leadership position.
