Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu publish 2026 provisional engineering and MCA seat allotments

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell released the MHT CET 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 provisional seat allotment on August 2, 2026. Candidates can log in to the official portals cetcell.mahacet.org or fe2026.mahacet.org with their Application ID and password or date of birth to view their allotted engineering college and branch. The reporting window for accepted seats runs from August 3 to August 5, with vacant seats to be displayed on August 6 and a second round of online option entry scheduled for August 7‑9.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Tamil Nadu announced the TANCET MCA 2026 provisional allotment on August 1, 2026. The result, based on rank, category and preferences, shows that 3,909 MCA seats remain vacant across the state. Candidates must download their provisional allotment orders from tn-mbamca.com, report to the allotted institution and complete verification and fee payment by the prescribed deadline, or risk losing the seat.
