Maharashtra CET 2026 Admissions Merit Lists and Seat Matrix Released
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra, published the final merit list for Direct Second Year Engineering (DSE) admissions for the 2026‑27 academic year on July 30, 2026. Candidates can view their rank, name and category on the official portal dse2026.mahacet.org.in.
On July 29, 2026 the CET Cell also released the final merit list for the 5‑Year LLB programme, available at llb5cap26.mahacet.org.in, containing each candidate’s CET percentile, application ID, and academic scores. The same day the CET Cell issued the Round 1 seat matrix for BTech admissions, offering 2,16,552 seats across 380 engineering institutes – an increase from the previous year’s 2,02,886 seats. Provisional seat allotment results are scheduled for August 2, 2026, with acceptance deadlines in early August. Over 2 2 lakh students have registered for the counselling process.
