Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Says He Will Remain in State, Dismisses Delhi Move Rumors

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis rejected speculation that he would join the central government or take on a Union ministry, declaring that he will stay in Maharashtra and prioritize the state’s responsibilities. He emphasized his recent itinerary – travelling from Delhi to Nagpur and planning to go to Mumbai later – to underline his commitment to the state.

Fadnavis also noted that the central government is set to introduce a bill imposing stricter penalties for examination paper leaks. Commenting on a rally hosted by Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, he said student concerns are a national issue, not a partisan one.
