Maharashtra government declares Raksha Bandhan holiday in Mumbai

The Maharashtra government has announced that Friday, August 28, 2026, will be observed as a local holiday for all state and semi-government offices in the Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban districts to mark Raksha Bandhan.
