Maharashtra landslide blocks Taloda‑Dhadgaon road, minor Nashik quake reported

Continuous heavy rain triggered a landslide at Chandsaili Ghat in Nandurbar district, Maharashtra, causing rocks and debris to block the Taloda‑Dhadgaon route. Authorities from the District Disaster Management Office and the National Disaster Response Force reported no casualties and began clearing the road while advising the public to avoid the area.

In a separate incident, a magnitude‑3.8 earthquake struck near Nashik, Maharashtra, at a depth of 5 km. The National Centre for Seismology confirmed the tremor occurred early on Thursday morning, with no reported injuries or damage.
