The Maharashtra Police department has implemented a major administrative reshuffle involving the transfer and new posting of 43 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DYSP) and Assistant Police Commissioners (ACP). Following recommendations from the state Home Department and Police Establishment Board, these changes aim to address administrative requirements, promotions, and departmental restructuring.

The reshuffle impacts several key districts, including Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Nagpur, Nashik, Gadchiroli, and Beed. In Mumbai and Pune, new appointments have been made to strengthen security. Notable transfers include Shubhada Shailesh Sankhye and Savita Narendra Shitole, both moving to ACP positions in Pune.
