Maharashtra's Nanded District Holds 122 Health Camps Under CM Jan Aarogya Drive

During July 2026, the Maharashtra government organized 122 health camps across Nanded district as part of the Chief Minister Jan Aarogya initiative. The camps provided medical consultations, blood pressure, diabetes and haemoglobin screening, and other diagnostic tests. A total of 13,619 residents—4,210 men, 6,722 women, 1,069 boys and 1,618 girls—received check‑ups. The drive also facilitated the issuance of 3,121 Ayushman Bharat and ABHA health cards, linking beneficiaries to the national health insurance scheme. Officials said patients needing specialised care were referred to appropriate hospitals and that similar people‑centric health programmes will continue in the district.
