Mahindra and Jeep announce new off-road vehicle updates

Mahindra has introduced an updated version of the Thar in the Indian market, featuring a new M_Glyde 4G ladder-frame chassis designed to increase torsional rigidity and ground clearance to 23.2 cm. The vehicle includes aesthetic updates such as a redesigned five-slot grille, LED headlights with C-shaped daytime running lights, and 19-inch alloy wheels on top configurations. The model aims to offer high-tech features similar to the four-door Roxx version at a price point below US$ 11,000.

In a separate development, Jeep has unveiled the Wrangler JL-2A, a limited edition inspired by the 1945 Willys CJ-2A, the first civilian vehicle produced by the company after World War II. Built on the modern Rubicon structure, the special edition features retro-inspired elements including Gobi beige paint, 17-inch retro-style wheels, and Nappa Heritage Tan leather seats. The model will be available for order in the United States starting in October, with a price premium of US$ 4,995 over the standard Rubicon version.
