Mahindra Group appoints Shveta Arya as Group Chief Strategy Officer

Mahindra Group has appointed Shveta Arya as its Group Chief Strategy Officer, effective September 15, 2026. Arya will lead the Group Strategy Office, focusing on growth opportunities, value creation, and long-term strategic advantage across the company's diverse business portfolio.

In addition to her new role, Arya will join the Group Executive Board and become part of the Senior Management of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, reporting directly to Group CEO and MD Anish Shah.

Arya joins the group with over 23 years of experience in management consulting and leadership roles within multinational companies. Her professional background spans the automotive, travel, financial services, and telecommunications sectors. Most recently, she served as the Managing Director of Cummins India, where she managed growth, customer operations, and talent development. Her previous experience includes leading Strategy and M&A at Thomas Cook India, as well as roles at Kearney and Infosys.
