Mahindra Racing retains Nyck de Vries and Edoardo Mortara for Formula E Season 13

Mahindra Racing has confirmed that its driver lineup will remain unchanged for the upcoming FIA Formula E World Championship Season 13. Drivers Nyck de Vries and Edoardo Mortara will both compete in the new GEN4 era.

The decision follows a successful 2025/26 campaign where the duo helped Mahindra secure third place in the teams' championship, accumulating 252 points with two victories, ten podiums, and six pole positions. The announcement was preceded by a social media prank by the team suggesting the drivers were leaving, which was later clarified as a retention confirmation.

For Edoardo Mortara, the upcoming season marks his tenth year in Formula E, making him the only competitor on the grid to have raced across all four technological generations of the championship. Nyck de Vries, the 2020/21 Formula E champion, enters his fourth consecutive season with the team after a strong performance in the previous year.
