Mahindra to launch updated BE 6 Formula E Edition on August 15

Mahindra has teased an updated version of its BE 6 Formula E Edition, which is scheduled for launch on August 15. This marks the first refresh for the special edition since its initial release in November 2025.

Based on teaser imagery, the most prominent update includes larger C-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs) and tail lamps, similar to the standard BE 6 model. The vehicle was showcased in a Tango Red shade. Other expected features include Formula E-themed body decals, black alloy wheels, and a Formula E badge on the front fender, alongside a unique cabin theme.

Mechanical specifications are expected to remain unchanged, likely retaining the existing 59kWh and 79kWh battery pack options. The updated edition is anticipated to be based on the top-spec Pack Three trim and offered in limited numbers. Additionally, Mahindra is expected to debut the BE 6 Sporteq on the same day, which is expected to feature a different interior theme and a triple screen layout.
