The tension escalated when an individual in the studio reportedly asked, “Who is Mahmoud Abdel Magny?” during the discussion, a comment viewed by many as a dismissal of his professional standing.

In response, media personality Reham Said defended the actor, criticizing the commentators for equating an artist's presence with their level of personal publicity. Additionally, several industry colleagues, including actor Mohamed Emam, have publicly voiced their support for Abdel Magny, praising his talent and artistic contributions.
