Mahra Al Nahyan sentenced for child neglect in London

Mahra Al Nahyan, a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family, has been sentenced for child neglect following an incident in West London in June. The 32-year-old was found unconscious on a street alongside an unresponsive man. At the time, her three-year-old child was found playing barefoot and unsupervised near busy traffic.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Al Nahyan had admitted to consuming cocaine several days prior to the incident. Witnesses reported that the child was in danger due to the proximity of moving vehicles. When police arrived, Al Nahyan was reportedly in a state of confusion and initially reacted with hostility toward officers.

Al Nahyan pleaded guilty to child neglect. The court imposed a sentence that includes two years of community service, mandatory rehabilitation through a three-month program, and a £6,000 fine. Her legal representative stated that she is currently undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation clinic.
