Mahsun Kırmızıgül performs in Cyprus and discusses musical return

Turkish singer and filmmaker Mahsun Kırmızıgül recently performed at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel in Cyprus, appearing before a crowd of over 2,000 fans. During the event, Kırmızıgül discussed his 17-year hiatus from the stage, noting that the break prevented professional burnout and left him feeling energized for his current performances.

Kırmızıgül expressed his gratitude to legendary artists, stating that introducing previous generations of musicians to younger audiences is a duty. He also credited his passion for cinema to Yılmaz Güney, recalling how seeing the film ‘Zavallılar’ sparked his interest in directing and filmmaking.

Regarding his musical career, Kırmızıgül announced that his ‘Gönlümdeki Şarkılar’ project is ongoing. He revealed that new covers of songs by Nilüfer and Kayahan are expected to be released within the next 15 days.
