Miss Universe Vietnam 2026 organizers penalize titleholders
The Miss Universe Vietnam 2026 organizing committee and Five6 Entertainment have announced disciplinary actions against winner Nguyễn Quỳnh Anh and first runner-up Trịnh Mỹ Anh. The decision follows the circulation of private chat messages on social media containing disparaging remarks about other pageant figures and judges.
Nguyễn Quỳnh Anh has been banned from stage performances for six months and is required to pay fines as determined by competent authorities. Trịnh Mỹ Anh has received a three-month suspension from stage performances and may also face fines. The organizers stated these measures aim to uphold behavioral standards and responsibility for beauty titleholders.
The committee is continuing to coordinate with relevant authorities in Hải Phòng to verify and process all related information.
