Mai Fukagawa performs singing and dancing in new film footage

New footage has been released from the film ‘Nigero Ojousan’, starring Satoru Iguchi of the rock band King Gnu. The clip features Mai Fukagawa, who plays a former idol named Maiko Ayukawa, performing the song ‘Palette’.

This marks Fukagawa’s first time performing singing and dancing in eight years since her graduation from Nogizaka46 in 2016. The song’s lyrics were written by director Chihiro Ito, with choreography provided by Aina The End.

Based on a short story by Shuichi Yoshida, the film follows Kota, a man running an onsen inn, who encounters his former idol, Maiko, while she is on the run following a scandal involving her husband. The film explores the connection between a fan and the celebrity who supported him through his life.
