Maia Sandu awards Order of Honor to Polish Ambassador

President Maia Sandu awarded the ‘Order of Honor’ to Tomasz Kobzdej, the Ambassador of Poland to the Republic of Moldova, marking the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Chișinău.

Kobzdej, whose mandate began in April 2022, was recognized for his role in strengthening political and economic ties between Moldova and Poland. His tenure saw expanded cooperation in security, defense, energy, and European integration. Additionally, the Moldovan-Polish intergovernmental commission was relaunched after a 17-year hiatus, and economic collaboration between the two nations intensified during his term.
