Maierà to host fourth Sagra del Fusillo festival Aug 8‑9, 2026

The town of Maierà in Calabria will hold the fourth edition of the Sagra del Fusillo on 8 and 9 August 2026 in Piazza Madonna del Carmine. The event is organized by the local association Ora et Labora APS, under the patronage of the Comune di Maierà and with support from the regional agricultural development agency ARSAC.

Following the success of recent patronal celebrations for the Madonna del Carmine, organizers aim to repeat high attendance. The programme includes a workshop on traditional Maierà‑style fusilli on Saturday evening, food stalls offering fusilli with goat ragù, tomato sauce, roasted peppers, local wine and other dishes, and live music by the band Corrado from 20:00 each night.
