Folkfield Festival returns to Gelsenkirchen in 2026

The Folkfield Festival is scheduled to return for its fourth edition on September 11 and 12, 2026, at the Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen. The event, located along the Rhein-Herne-Kanal, focuses on a blend of folk, medieval, and rock music.

Schandmaul will serve as the festival's hosts and headliners for both evenings. The lineup includes several high-profile acts such as Fiddler’s Green, Subway To Sally, Wind Rose, Rauhbein, Doppelbock, Irdorath, and Deus Vult. The festival will also feature a medieval market.
