Traffic incidents and police enforcement reported across Europe

Multiple police reports across Austria, Switzerland, and Germany detail various traffic incidents, law enforcement actions, and fatal accidents.

In Graz, Austria, police conducted targeted checks on e-scooters, resulting in 160 violations, including speeding and unlicensed minors operating vehicles. A separate incident involved a 17-year-old motorcyclist attempting to evade police, during which two officers were dragged several meters.

Fatalities were reported in several locations. A 20-year-old man in Globasnitz, Austria, died after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. In Kölliken, Switzerland, an 83-year-old e-scooter rider died following a collision with a car.

Law enforcement in Switzerland, specifically in Thurgau and Aargau, reported multiple arrests and license revocations due to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Other notable incidents include a high-speed crash in Brugg, Switzerland, involving an intoxicated driver without a license, and various collisions in Germany involving hit-and-runs and single-vehicle accidents.
